Brasspoint started with a straightforward observation: Bangkok has no shortage of places that will open a watch, but very few that will tell you clearly what they found, what they did about it, and what to expect when you collect it. The workshop was set up to fill that gap.
The name comes from the pointed brass tools used in movement work — oilers, pushers, hand-setting tools. They're unremarkable objects, but without them nothing gets done carefully. That's roughly the philosophy here: steady hands, the right instruments, and no cutting of corners.
The services we offer — regulation, water-resistance restoration, and crystal replacement — were chosen because they cover the most common needs of watch owners without spreading the workshop too thin. Depth over breadth.
Located on Soi Thonglor 9 in Watthana, the workshop is accessible from most parts of Bangkok and is set up for straightforward drop-off and collection. There's no storefront theatre — just a workbench, proper lighting, and the tools needed for the job.
We work on mechanical and quartz watches across a wide range of brands and price points. The determining factor for whether we take on a piece is whether we can do the specific job well — not the name on the dial.
Pricing is set per service and stated clearly before any work begins. If the intake assessment turns up something beyond the scope of what was brought in, we'll discuss it before proceeding.

How We Approach Each Job
Calibrated Instruments Only
Rate adjustment is performed on a timing machine, not estimated. Pressure testing uses a wet-dry tester matched to the watch's rated depth.
Written Records
Intake notes are kept for every piece. Regulation results come back with a printed timing record. Your watch's history stays on file.
Scope Discipline
Work doesn't extend beyond what was agreed at intake without your knowledge. If something unexpected appears, we stop and discuss before continuing.
Stock Confirmation Before Quoting
Crystal and gasket availability is checked before a turnaround date is given. No dates are promised on the assumption parts will arrive.
Secure Handling
Watches in the workshop are stored in labelled trays and handled only by the technician assigned to the job. No pieces are left unsupervised on the bench.
Transparent Pricing
Prices are published per service and quoted at intake. There are no additions without discussion, and no charge if work hasn't started when you change your mind.
