Dropped in a Seiko that had been running six minutes fast per day for as long as I'd owned it. The intake took about ten minutes — they tested it on the bench, explained what was likely causing the drift, and gave me a clear price. Came back a week later and it's running within a few seconds a day. The timing printout was a nice touch — didn't expect that.

Had the crystal replaced on a vintage dress watch — the original was badly scratched and I'd been putting it off. They confirmed stock availability before quoting a date, which I appreciated. The fitting was clean, the bezel came back undamaged, and the whole thing cost less than I expected. I'd been worried about finding someone I could trust with it. This worked out well.

Wichai M.

Ekkamai, Bangkok

Took a dive watch in for water-resistance restoration before a trip to Samui. The gaskets were replaced and it came back with a pressure test confirmation. The turnaround was five days, as quoted. One small thing — they did find the crown threading was worn and paused to let me know before continuing, which added a day. Good that they asked rather than just carrying on.

My grandfather's watch had never been regulated and was consistently slow. I was nervous about leaving it somewhere unfamiliar. The person at intake was calm and thorough — explained what they'd check, what they'd charge, and what I'd get back. The timing record on collection was something I didn't know to expect, but it was reassuring to have it.

Wanted a sapphire upgrade on a watch that came with a mineral crystal. They checked the case profile, confirmed they could source the right size, and got back to me on turnaround within a day. The finished result is noticeably cleaner — no fogging from the old mineral scratches. Pricing was straightforward and matched what was quoted.

Practical and professional. Brought in a quartz watch with a scratched crystal and a mechanical one for regulation. They handled both separately and gave a collection time for each. Not the quickest turnaround in the city, but I wasn't in a hurry, and both came back in noticeably better shape. The location on Thonglor is easy to reach by BTS.

Three Jobs in Detail

Challenge

A 1980s Citizen automatic brought in by its original owner. Running nearly eight minutes fast per day, last regulated unknown. Owner wanted it worn regularly but didn't want to spend on a full service.

Solution

Timing machine assessment showed good amplitude but significant rate deviation. Beat error was also slightly off. Regulation and beat error correction carried out without a full movement clean — amplitude indicated oils were still adequate.

Result

Returned at +4 seconds per day across positions — well within daily use tolerance. Timing record provided. Owner given guidance on when to consider a full service based on current amplitude readings.

"Exactly what was needed — nothing more, nothing less. I was told clearly what they'd do and why." — Watchful owner, Ladprao

Challenge

A sports diver bought second-hand with unknown service history. New owner planned regular sea use in Thailand and wanted confidence in the water-resistance rating before relying on it.

Solution

Full gasket replacement — caseback, crown, and pushers. Old seals showed compression and minor cracking consistent with several years of use. Reassembled to torque spec, then pressure-tested at the watch's 200m rating.

Result

Passed wet-dry test at rated depth. Returned within four working days. Owner has since used it on several diving trips without issue and returned for a check-up six months later.

"Went into the Andaman Sea on the first trip after collection. No issues at all." — Diver, Silom

Challenge

A dress watch with a badly fogged mineral crystal — originally purchased in the 1990s. Owner wanted it back in wearable condition but was undecided between replacing like-for-like or upgrading.

Solution

Case dimensions measured and sapphire profile sourced. Quoted for both mineral and sapphire at intake, with the price difference explained. Owner chose sapphire. Old crystal removed without bezel damage, new one fitted and inspected for seal.

Result

Dial now clearly visible, no fogging. Bezel and case undamaged. Turnaround was nine days due to sourcing time — confirmed at intake, so no surprise. Owner described the result as making the watch look new again.

"I had no idea a crystal replacement would make such a visible difference." — Collector, Ari
